Harirod Bridge Construction in Herat (Afghanistan)
Bureau des Nations Unies pour les services d’appui aux projets (UNOPS)
Titre : Harirod Bridge Construction in Herat (Afghanistan)
Pays : Afghanistan
Durée : 01-Sep-2017 to 31-Dec-2024
Descriptif
The Ministry of Public Works of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has identified the need for the construction of approximately 300 m long bridge along the bypass road outside the Herat city center, over the Harirud River. This connection will facilitate traffic — especially heavy commercial trucks — passing to and from Iran and Turkmenistan. By construction of this road the traffic congestion in the city will reduced, while the bypass will eliminate disturbances and pollution caused by heavy traffic in the city, particularly for trucks transfer of commercial goods, as well create job opportunities and develop the area and villages around the road. The bypass is a 45 km long road to be built thanks to funds granted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
Financement : Italie
Budget : US$ 4,426,227
