Descriptif
With the generous support of the European Union, the Infrastructure Rehabilitation for the Justice Reform Support Program (PARJ) is planned to support the formulation and implementation of a reform of the justice, including transitional justice for the Government of Tunisia. The expected results are, on the one hand, anchored in legislation and practices constitutional principles and international standards, mainly in criminal procedure and on the other hand better administration of justice than whether at the level of central administrations, courts and detention centers and this thanks to a better infrastructure and information system. UNOPS is tasked with the rehabilitation and extension of the cantonal court of Tunis. The implementation of the program for the protection of judicial institutions, courts and penal establishments by providing the equipment, instruments and personnel necessary to protect them from theft, fire and sabotage. This program will be established in stages according to the following priorities : (i) infrastructure, (ii) the human element, and (i) technical means, as well as the endowment of an information system and the computerization of criminal court registers.
