The nutrient cycle of nitrogen and phosphorus is an important part of the material cycle and energy flow in the biosphere.The study of its temporal and spatial distribution characteristics and transport mechanism will help clarify the source and cause of eutrophication in shallow lakes,and then propose effective control measures.The Wuliangsuhai Lake in Inner Mongolia was selected as the research area to monitor different forms of nitrogen and phosphorus and other nutrient indicators in January,April,July and October 2019.This article takes Wuliangsuhai Lake in Inner Mongolia as the research area.In January,April,July and October 2019,we monitored different forms of nitrogen and phosphorus and other nutrient indicators.For nitrogen,we selected TN,NH3-N,NO3—N and NO2—N.For phosphorus we selected TP,DTP,PP,DIP,and DOP.Both their temporal and spatial changes are analyzed horizontally and vertically,and the diffusion of nitrogen and phosphorus at the sediment-water interface are estimated with the help of Fick’s first law.To discuss the temporal and spatial variability of different forms of nitrogen and phosphorus and their correlation with environmental factors,the main conclusions are as follows :(1)In terms of time,the various forms of nitrogen in Wuliangsuhai are higher in winter,and the content of various forms of phosphorus is higher in summer and autumn.The reason for the high nitrogen content of all forms in winter is that nitrogen nutrients migrate to the sub-glacial water body during the freezing process,and the lake has a nutrient concentration effect.The reason for the higher phosphorus content of various forms in summer and autumn is that the sediments continue to release phosphorus to the lake in summer and autumn.Spatially,the various forms of nitrogen are mainly concentrated in the northern area.The reason is that this area is the Wuliangsu Lake’s main lake entry area,which carries a large amount of farmland retreat and industrial sewage,and has a high nitrogen content ;each form of phosphorus is mainly distributed in the northern and eastern regions.District and Southwest District,the northern district is dominated by external sources,the eastern district is dominated by internal sources,and the southwest district is dominated by the migration and transformation of phosphorus.
