In recent years,people have been clearing and expanding land,which has intensified the conflict between people and land.The analysis and research of regional land use/ cover changes and its related contents can not only explore the dynamic changes of land use types on the earth’s surface,but also reproduce the effects of human activities on land use change.It can provide scientific guidance for regional landscape ecological construction,environmental protection,ecological civilization construction and the healthy and orderly development of ecological environment.As a typical artificial oasis in Northwest China,the Alar reclamation area is not only an important ecological barrier to hinder the northward migration of the Taklimakan Desert,but also a significant member of the strategy for large-scale development of western China and the Belt and Road Initiative,which plays a core role in promoting the ecological civilization construction and economic development in southern Xinjiang.The lack of fresh water resources on the surface of the reclamation area,the serious phenomenon of soil salinization,and the blind reclamation of land resources with the increasing population have led to a series of ecological and environmental problems.The study of the evolution of land use landscape patterns and ecological risks in the Aral Reclamation Area can provide some ideas for food security,rational development and use of soil and water resources and land use restructuring in the Reclamation Area.Therefore,based on 259 Landsat remote sensing image data(the spatial resolution is 30×30 m)and relevant statistical data of Alar reclamation area from 1990 to 2019,this paper carried out multi-temporal remote sensing image fusion with the support of SPSS,ENVI,e Cognition,Arc GIS,GIS+,Fragstats and Geo DA.After comparing the accuracy of different classification algorithms,the best classification method was selected for land classification.Combining classical landscape ecology and spatial geostatistics algorithms,the dynamic changes of land use/cover in the Alar Reclamation Area over a long time series from 1990 to 2019 were then analysed,the driving factors for the changes in the cultivated land area in the Reclamation Area were explored,the evolution of the landscape pattern was carried out A study was conducted to evaluate the regional ecological risks in the Aral Reclamation Area,revealing the spatial change patterns and spatial correlations of ecological risks in the Reclamation Area.The findings show that :(1)Comparison of different classification methods : By comparing the accuracy of three classification algorithms : multi-temporal object-oriented,multi-temporal image-based and single-temporal object-oriented,the results show that the multi-temporal object-oriented algorithm has the best classification result(overall accuracy OA is 0.96,Kappa coefficient is 0.95),and the multi-temporal object-oriented classification algorithm can avoid the "misclassification" and "missclassification" as much as possible on the basis of the support vector machine classification algorithm which has a high classification accuracy.
