Résumé
Management of water resources is an under-appreciated problem in non-arid states. In the Northeast region of the United States, threats to water resources include the legacy of industrial development and contamination, the under-funding of facilities like sewage treatment plants to control pollution, and a lack of coordination between people making decisions about land development and concerns about the contribution that development makes to water pollution. This project will analyze political and legal arrangements in New Jersey that contribute to these problems.

Objectifs
Characterize bio-physical, socio-economic, and political/legal factors (and interactions of these factors) that influence water-use decisions and related market or non-market outcomes.
