Résumé
Soil mantains great biodiversity of organisms and its main function is to support plant growth by supplying nutrients. Soil quality must be maintained to ensure efficient production and preservation of the environment. Currently there is an increase in soil salinization, which is estimated worldwide in that 60% of soils are saline. This fact implies the reduction of crop yields and even more serious reaching the uselessness of soils, bringing with it a reduction in the world’s food supply. In this regard, this study aims to evaluate a biostimulant as an improver of the physicochemical properties of soils with different texture and salinity. The physical properties evaluated were : resistance to penetration, apparent density, porosity, available water retention capacity (AWC), aggregate stability, as well as the chemical properties evaluated were such as pH, electrical conductivity, cation exchange capacity, matter organic, basic cations and Sodium Absorption Ratio (SAR). To obtain a saline and very saline level in the loamy and sandy soil, a saline solution of NaCl with concentrations of 35 mM and 100 mM respectively was used ; however, for clay loam soil, only a 35 mM solution was necessary to go from a saline level to a very saline one. The experimental design consisted of a multivariate design consisting of 3 textural classes (clay loam, loam and sandy), 3 salinity levels (non-saline, saline and very saline), 3 doses (0 L / ha, 2 L / ha and 4 L / ha), for 2 periods of time (30 and 60 days respectively). The results were evaluated with an ANOVA for parametric data and Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA for non-parametric data. The statistical difference between the means of the types of variables was discriminated using the Tukey HSD test and the discrimination of the medians with the Mann-Whitney test with a confidence level of 95%. Despite the fact that the evaluated biostimulant is mainly directed to the root system of the crops (since it is an inducer of tolerance to metabolic stress in the plant), the results showed improvements in the physical-chemical properties of the soil with respect to the initial values and between periods. The dose of 4 L / was significant to improve the stability of the aggregates in the non-saline clay loam with a significant difference compared to the control (0 L / ha). On the other hand, the properties that did not obtain statistical significance showed increases with doses of 2 L / ha and 4 L / ha.
