The utilization of Indigenous vegetables has been acknowledged as a temporary stop gap measure in times of food inadequacy. This book seeks to analyse the determinants of Intensity consumption of Indigenous vegetables in Wedza District in Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe. Socio economic factors which influence consumption were evaluated. It also looks further into consumption patter ns and availability during and after the growing season.Recommendations have been put in place to advise policy markers during the policy formulation and implementation stage. This will drive Indigenous vegetables in a commercial domain hence increase consumption and safeguard biodiversity, increase rural income and nutrition.
