Agricultural water is scarce in the arid regions of Northwest China.Irrigation areas are the main part of agricultural water.We must vigorously develop research on agricultural water saving and tap the potential of agricultural water saving.At present,in order to improve the management level and water efficiency of agricultural water resources,a scientific and reasonable agricultural water use evaluation system must be established.The proposal and application of the crop production water footprint opens up a new perspective for the scientific management of agricultural water resources.The crop production water footprint unifies rain-fed agriculture and irrigated agriculture,and provides a theoretical basis for the scientific,rational and efficient use of water resources.Based on the Baojixia Irrigation District,this study is based on the method of remote sensing to accurately identify the crop planting structure in the irrigation area and realize the spatial distribution of crop yields.The quantification method and model of crop water footprint at the irrigation area scale are constructed,and the blue water and green water footprints at the irrigation area scale are realized.Accurate and fast quantification.The results of this study can provide a basis and guarantee for the efficient use and regulation of agricultural water resources in the Baojixia Irrigation District.The main results of this research are as follows :(1)The method based on remote sensing realizes the identification and yield estimation of crops in the Baojixia Irrigation District.The Sentinel-2A remote sensing images of key growth periods were downloaded in combination with the phenological information of irrigation areas.By comparing the maximum likelihood method with the support vector machine classification method,the recognition accuracy of support vector machine classification method is higher,and the phenomenon of misclassification and misclassification is less.Therefore,support vector machine classification method was used to identify and extract the planting areas of wheat and maize in the irrigation area from 2017 to 2020.Yield estimation model was constructed based on the key growth period NDVI and crop yield.
