Résumé
Overall, it can be concluded that water stress affects significantly and negatively growth and yield of maize crop. Foliar application of SA, PR and H2O2 seem to be an effective tool to alleviate the adversely effects of drought stress on maize crop production. The highest growth attributes and yield of maize were produced under full irrigation, and the lowest values were obtained under the deficit irrigation regime. The foliar spraying application of SA 140 ppm and PR 60 ppm improved all morphological and physiological parameters as well as yield and yield components of maize crop. Moreover, the best variety was S.C. 2036. Therefore, it could be concluded that, among all the studied treatments, the best and recommended treatment is I 12 x S.C. 2036 x SA 140ppm and PR 60 ppm at 45 DAS which enhanced maize productivity.
