There are Caragana korshinskii and Artemisia ordosica in arid and semi-arid region of China,which are important plants for afforestation.Their unique morphological and physiological characteristics play an important role in the restoration and protection of degraded ecosystems.Ground-active arthropods,as the most individual and species biological group,not only play an important role in biodiversity protection and fragile ecosystem maintenance,but also have an effect on the process of material cycle,energy flow and information transmission of desert grassland ecosystem.Therefore,C.korshinskii and A.ordosica shrubs were used as research objects,and bare land among shrubs was used as the control.In summer and autumn of 2019 and spring,summer and autumn of 2020,the paper investigated the community composition and diversity distribution of ground-active arthropods in desert shrubs microhabitats based on different precipitation distribution conditions.Combined with soil physical and chemical properties and herbaceous vegetation,we identified the key environmental factors affecting the distribution of ground-active arthropods and clarified the spatial and temporal distribution of community composition and diversity of ground-active arthropods in desert shrub
