China is a country with many desert highways,and the current highway sand da mage is still very serious.The occurrence of sandstorm disaster threatens the safe operation of highway in sandstorm area.Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance to study the characteristics of sandstorm flow field of highway in sandstorm area for ensuring the safe operation of highway in desert area.Based on the wind tunnel simulation test,the characteristics of wind sand flow field under different wind speed and sand discharge are analyzed.Based on the study of the characteristics of windblown sand flow field,the formation mechanism of windblown sand hazard of desert highway is discussed by analyzing the flow field distribution,wind speed profile,wind speed weakening rate,area of weak wind area and sand resistance performance index of subgrade model with different slope ratio.The results show that : when the sediment discharge remains constant,with the increase of height,the sediment concentration keeps a decreasing trend,but at a higher position,the decrease decreases with the increase of height.When the test wind speed remains constant,the wind speed at the height of each measuring point under the three kinds of sand flow is less than that at the corresponding height under the net wind state,and the larger the sand flow is,the more obvious the reduction effect on the wind speed is ;The larger the slope ratio is,the more significant the impact on the subgrade environment wind field is.The reduction rate of near surface wind speed on the leeward side of the subgrade is greater than that on the windward side,and the sand accumulation on the leeward side is more serious ;The larger the slope ratio is,the greater the sand resistance performance is and the smaller the sand transport performance is.With the increase of subgrade slope ratio,the range and degree of sand accumulation on both sides will increase correspondingly
