Résumé
Water is the foundation of survival,the foundation of all things.At present,the continuous increase in population density in the world and the inefficient use of water resources have led to a serious shortage of water resources.At the same time,with the continuous development of urbanization and the extensive development and utilization of existing land,the area of urban greening has become less and less.In response to the country’s sustainable development strategy,water-saving urban green space was born.Therefore,this paper selects water-saving urban green space in the arid region of Northwest China as the research focus.Based on the current situation of scarce water resources,poor ecological environment,and backward infrastructure in the arid region of Northwest China,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the development of urban green space in the region and combines relevant theories Research and practical cases propose corresponding solution.Based on this,this paper takes the design and planning of the central park of Minhe county in Qinghai province as an example,comprehensively analyzes the special geographical environment,ecological conditions,and site status of the area based on the special land status inside the site,and summarizes the existing problems.The design strategy of "using rainwater collection as a guide to construct a green space water-saving system ;reasonable allocation of drought-tolerant plants,enriching plant diversity ;rich in functions and diversifying to meet rest" was proposed.First,calculate the catchment area and area of the design site through the GIS platform,and further obtain the amount of rainwater that can be collected by the site,and determine the distribution and area of the storage area within the site based on this data.The flood control design of the possible flood and flood problems caused by the Huangshui River in the site was created to create a complex river section that integrates flood control,water storage and hydrophilic leisure.Secondly,the droughttolerant plant communities should be reasonably allocation,and the seasonal and color changes of vegetation should be paid attention to,creating a multi-season rich plant landscape.While maximizing water saving,it also takes into account its aesthetics and economic value.Finally,through the understanding of the social and cultural needs of Minhe County and the needs of tourists,a wealth of functional physical examination spaces were implanted in the design site to create an organic fusion of water-saving gardens and a comprehensive central park.Based on the literature review and specific case study,this paper provides some reference value and practical experience for the future development and construction of water-saving urban green space in the arid areas of western China
