Résumé
In this study, the climate of Osmangazi, the county of Bursa, and the environmental influences related to it have been discussed. For this, the data of the Bursa meteorological station, observed between 1960 and 2015, were used. In the light of these data made analysis with the methods of Erinç, De Martonne, Thorntwaite, Köppen and Rubinstein. And through these methods charts, graphs, figures and maps were formed. Osmangazi is located on the skirts of Uludağ and starts with Gökdere Valley in the east. To the west is the Nilüfer Stream and the New Mudanya Road, to the north is the Katırlı Mountains and Nilüfer Creek. The average elevation of this province is 100 m. Evaluated according to the sea, it is seen that it is 31 km away from Mudanya Port, 74 km away from Yalova and 30 km away from Gemlik. The research area is in semi-arid areas and climates in humid areas. The average annual temperature of Osmangazi is 14.6°C and the amplitude is 19.3°C. While July is the hottest month of the year, January is the month with the lowest temperature. The average annual rainfall is 716.4 mm. August is the driest month of the year. Most precipitation falls in December. According to Köppen Osmangazi is in the type of Mediterranean climate classified as Csa, warm in winter, dry and hot in summer. According to De Martonne, it is the type of Akdeniz climate in the Subtropical Climates class. According to Thornthwaite, it is a semi-humid, second degree Mesothermal, water deficient in summer and very close to the sea effect which is very strong. Erinç index value class is semi-humid. These climate characteristics of Osmangazi affect the situations such as soil formation, vegetation distribution and diversity, effects of external forces, natural disasters, stream flows and regimes, tourism, agricultural activities, housing types, settlements, the formation of culture. These effects of climate characteristics on natural environment and human activities are presented with statistical data, tables and graphs. At the same time, the effects of human activities on climate characteristics are determined.
