Résumé
The Pasinler plain is located on the Erzurum- Kars part of the East Anatolia Region. The plain, which is extended from east to west through the high mountains, is a river- basin. On the north of the plain, there are Kargapazarı, Ziyarettepe, Yeniköydüzü, Hasanbaba, Çilligül mountains, which have the height between 2050 m and 3288 m, on the south side, there are Alibaba,Şahveled, Nalbant, Sakaltutan, Akbaba, mountains that have the height between 2230 and 3070 m. On the east, there are Çobandede, Akmelek mountains, which have the height between 1900-1905, and on the west side, there are Oluklu, Hasandede and Yıldırım mountains, which have the height between 2425 and 2800 m. The plain is very important agricultural potential for the people of the environs. The climatic conditions at the Pasinler plain have shaped accordig to its geographical location as well as its ground location. The plain is affected by different weathers that come from different places and its climatic conditions always show a great variation with in the year. Through the whole year ,the Continental Polar (cP) and the Maritim Polar(mP) weather mass, which come from the north and effect the Anatolia Land and the Continental Tropical (cT) weather mass, which comes from the south have effects on the our research zone. At every season, the plain and its surrounding are usally effected by weathers, coming from south and soutwest and also by wheather which comes from North.The height of Lands, between the Pasinler plain and its surroundings, makes great differences in the staffs of climate, such as, temperature, wind, rainfall and pressure, etc.The annual temperature in the Pasinler plain is 6.1 C. But, due to, the height, in higher places the temperature decreases. The annual amplitude between the highest and the Lowest temperature is 31 C and it states the continental climate. The hotest month is July with 20,1 C temperature and the coldest month is January with -11,0 C temperature. The annual pressure of the plain is 800,9 mb. The winds mostly blow from west and then from east.The annual rainfall in the Pasinler plain and its surrounding increases from centre of plain to the higher mountains. The rainfall in the plain and its surrounding is between 380 mm and 1200 mm. The mountainous places have much more rain than the plain due to the height. The annual rainfall is 387 mm and %21 of this amount, rains in summer, %24 rains in autumn, %19 rains in winter and %36 rains in Spring.When we consider the annual distribution of the comperative moisture, we see that it increases in the winter seasons and decreases in the summer seasons. The annual amount of clouds is 4,7 and the counted cloudy days of a year are 211. The counted foggy days of a year are 23,5. Despite being drought for 4-5 months in a year, the reseach zone has a transfered climate between the half drought climate and humid climate.In our reseach zone, the Winters are cold and long, the summers are hot and comperatively drought. The interval seasons are rainy and have the less determined climate. "The continental climate of the East Anatolia."
