Résumé
Denudation is a process of Earth’s surface lowering, which includes the processes of weathering and erosion. The main factors influencing the intensity of denudation are climate and lithology. In the area of the Dinarides, primarily built of carbonate rocks, denudation not only changes the thickness of carbonate rocks, but also changes the hydraulics and chemical conditions that affect rock weathering and relief formation. There are several groups of methods used for measuring of surface denudation, but in research on Dinaric area measuring the loss of mass of limestone tablets exposed to weathering in different environments, and direct measurements on exposed surfaces with a micro-erosion meter are mainly used. The aim of this thesis was to review published scientific papers related to the denudation of the Dinaric karst, and to provide an overview of the most important methods and their results. The intensity of denudation is affected by several different factors. Climate affects the intensity of denudation so that in humid subtropical and mountain temperate climates the greatest wear occurs, while in arid and semiarid climates carbonate salts are deposited on the surface of the tablet and thus the mass of the tablets increases. The intensity of corrosion in different soil types depends on different composition, structure, soil moisture and amount of CO2. The measurement results are different due to the specifics of each place
