One deep well and 4000m water pipeline will be constructed in Bamyan province for Cave Dwellers IDPs. Through an assessment conducted with the local government and UNHCR data, IR has identified around 200 highly vulnerable IDP and returnee families living in the caves in the centre of Bamyan province needs for safe drinking water. IR Afghanistan will consult community elder and local Shura for selection of sites ; and getting of maximum use from the facilities. By completion and use of project. The target community will have easy access to potable water and the people life style & water born disease will decreased. According to Bamyan municipality and land location one deep well with 100m, installation of pipeline and stone made water tanker is appropriate for areas of Bamyan city, where the people cannot get access to tube wells. The water tanker is quite enough to provide safe drinking water for 200 families with installation of pipeline system to each individual homes.
