Descriptif
The ongoing armed conflict in Libya compels thousands of people to flee to Tunisia where they found refuge in the southern and northern parts of the country. Their living conditions are extremely precarious due to insufficient food, limited access to protection, health and education services. In fact, the hosting capacity of local population has been largely and rapidly exhausted, leaving in many cases both communities and refugees in difficult conditions. The present program comes within this context and aims at strengthening refugees, most vulnerable migrants and asylum seekers urban settlement through providing access to improved protection environment, counseling, psychosocial support, and community services (Health and Education) in Tunisia. In addition to that and in order to promote pacific co-existence, community raise awareness about the migrants and refugees rights will organized through and media and civil society organization that will be trained on international conventions and refugees/asylum seekers rights . The project will also contribute to empower support the civil society organizations capacities to assist people of concern and advocate the Government for a better protection environment to migrants and refugees through training, exchange visits and networking.
