Due to the severity of the 2010 food and pastoralist crisis, it is likely to take pastoralists and agro pastoralists several years to even return to the levels at which they were prior to the 2010 crisis. Thus, by providing additional livelihoods support at this time, the project will contribute to strengthening their resilience and reducing their vulnerability to a future crisis. Beneciciaries : 41,300 people. The project falls into SCO 1.1 & 3.1
