Présentation
This project will transfer funds from the Humanitarian Partnership Agreement (HPA), a multiyear partnership between Oxfam GB and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), to Oxfam Novib for use in an emergency response project in Niger. Following Boko Haram’s (BH) attacks that occurred on March 25th 2019 in remote villages in Diffa region, Niger, more than 18.000 individuals fled their village, leaving everything behind them, increasing the number of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) already registered in the area. This project aims to improve the living conditions of 1000 households / 6000 persons recently displaced by the armed conflict in Diffa region. Oxfam will provide emergency assistance in cash or in -kind (food and Non -Food Items) according to the localisation of the IDPs targeted, improve access to water and basic sanitary infrastructures (latrines) and will activate committee protection in remote areas.
