Présentation
Oxfam#s main objective in Sustainable livelihoods is to build an environment that fosters respect and protection of the right to sustainable livelihoods in order to protect human dignity, strengthen resilience and guarantee food security and income for the poorest. To achieve this goal, Oxfam, Save the Children and 7A received a three years EU grant to implement a project on communities# resilience. Building on the existing agricultural potential and the accompanying measures of the government, Oxfam, Save the Children and 7A will work to improve agricultural production and food quality of 1000 targeted households in the communes of Bagadadji, Coumbacara Sare Yoro Guire Bidji as well as introducing innovative mechanisms for communities access to improvedrice seeds and corn and thedevelopment and strengthening of vegetables and agro forestry gardens. The action will invest in asset protection through risk and disaster reduction activities. Furthermore the project will also support nutrition through access to information on good nutrition practices and improving the consumption of highly nutritious foods
