Oxfam drives an innovative sanitation project seeking to improve sanitation conditions for the most vulnerable households living inflooded and flood-prone areas of Pikine and Guediawaye (Dakar Senegal). Through this Program-pilot, the Government of Senegal seeksto learn lessons and find a sustainable solution for the most vulnerable households living in flooded and flood-prone areas in Senegal. Expected Results Two models of toilets are tested in 9 households of the project area One local implementing partner is trainedin toilet construction follow up and sanitation marketing 24 masons are trained in toilet construction and marketing 500 people living in flooded and flood prone areas will have willingness to pay toilet facilities 13 Committees among which 80 women will be trained in governance in WASH, advocacy and sanitation marketing
