The countries members of the OMVS (countries who border the Fleuve Senegal) are Guinea , Mali, Mauritania and Senegal are facing the problem of land insecurity . This is the phenomenon of consecutive massive grabbing of the most useful lands by private investors. As practice, it is a deprivation of local populations an essential capital of an economic and social heritage and one of their most legitimate rights. By sharing of information and experiences of these countries, Oxfam and its partners will have an inventory ofthe situation of the land grab. With this we will develop our lobby towards national and regional policy makers and other actors like the World Bank and the EU.
