Présentation
Together with Oxfam America colleagues in Senegal we will support six cooperatives of RECOMER (Micro Rural Enterprise Network) to be operational and providing services to the relevant MERS. A MER is a "micro entreprise rurale" a business family of farmers. These so-called MERs will improve their productivity.
The support of the six will sustain the RECOMER network of 550 rural micro enterprises created by the PINORD under PARMER II program funded by Oxfam in 2013-2014.
In the new program we will develop a roadmap for strengthening their economic, financial, organizational management and accountability. This project has a development phase and a execution phase. After phase I we will evaluate the feasibility of the project, it will check the objectives and results and get a mutual agreement between the partners and RECOMER. A draft document will then be prepared which will confirm the objectives, results and activities proposed. Two major innovations will be proposed to them : an insurance and an extensive irrigation system.
Total budget : 50,000 EUR
Acteur (s) : PINORD is an umbrella organization who brings together six Producers Organizations in the Northern Region of Senegal (Vallée du Fleuve Senegal)
