Descriptif
The project aims at improving the socioeconomic conditions of the widows in South Gaza. The project targets 13 women of the poorest and most vulnerable women in the area mostly head of households. They will be selected to be willing and have the potential to have their start their own small income generation activity. The project will assist them and enable them to have a sustainable source of income by doing the following : - Funding : the project will secure the funds for starting a feasible income generation activity for 13 women. Each of the project beneficiaries will receive 6800 NIS to help her start her own business. - Coaching : this will involve providing business counselling, follow-up, mentorship, and business linkages. Couching will start before the small businesses starts and will continue until women have the ability to sail on their own. This effort is expected to transfer them to be self-reliant and income generators, and ultimately enhance their livelihoods.
