Présentation
Over the years, the Agadez region has become an important migration hub through which
migrants flow from West and Central Africa. Migrants face significant humanitarian risks – difficult access to basic services, discrimination, protection problems (human trafficking, abuse, violence and exploitation) and phsychosocial support needs. Furthermore, migrants passing through this region have no information or limited information on the risks and dangers along the migratory route as well as their rights while in transit countries.
This project will co-fund the French RC migration project called “Bakin Hawre†in Agadez, which has been implemented since 2013. Focus will be on providing support to migrants through Humanitarian Service Points and ensuring social cohesion by organising joint activities with migrants and host communities. BRC will also enhance coordination of Movement Partners and continue our support to the Sahel
