Présentation
As with most countries in southern Africa Namibia has been suffering from prolonged drought and low rainfall between 2014 and 2016 leading to failed harvests depleting food stocks loss of livelihoods and increase in waterborne disease and malnutrition. IFRC launched an appeal to support Namibian Red Cross to reach affected communties in five regions of north of country. This appeal was initially planned to end in September 2016 but due to protracted food insecurity has been extended until April 2017.
