Objectif
The objective of the project would be to increase and protect Botswana’s important export earnings and rural incomes from meat and livestock products by constructing a new export oriented abattoir in Francistown in the north-eastern part of the country. The new abattoir would also provide flexibility for the country in dealing with large numbers of cattle which will have to be slaughtered during unforeseen disease outbreaks and drought.
