Présentation
The study will be divided into two phases :
* Phase 1 - Preliminary Studies - Projections of water demand
(a) Francistown : The consultant shall asseas the current projections of water demand for Francistown and forecast the effects of a decision to locate "Wet" industries there.
(b) Mining Projects : Estimates of water demand associated with possible new mines should be made with assumptions as to the techniques and scale of mining operations clearly stated.
(c) Rural Requirements : Rural Water requirements capable of being economically served from proposed water sources and transfer systems - should be identified.
* Phase 2. Project Feasibility studies - A. Both accelerated and decelorated population growth of Francistown. B. Extension of water borne sewerage to low income areas. C. A rephasing of the proposed mining project at selkirk-Pheonix.
