Présentation
Namibia Future Farming Trust (NFFT) is an organization that aims at finding solutions to uplift the quality of life for people burdened by poverty malnutrition poor education and limited income opportunities. NFFT improves urban food production to urban fo od production in order to curb malnutrition poverty and unemployment in Namibia. With the Okukuna Farm Project NNFT aims to establish a model of innovative urban farming technology for vulnerable communities. The project offers on-site support and training to employees community volunteers (specifically women and released offenders). NFFT also aims to increase awareness of the importance of intake of fresh produce to prevent malnutrition. The duration of the compact project is 12 months. Within that time fr ame NFFT has planned to establish a community farm on a plot offered by the City of Windhoek and to train the community members to take over the profitable farm.
