Présentation
The main activity of the project is to organize a conference and a workshop in Marrakech bringing together women from Morocco and Finland representing various fields in open dialogue and cultural exchange. The aim of the project is to strengthen the participation of women in the democratic process and development especially seeking to increase the political contribution of women and the competence of Moroccan businesswomen. Furthermore the project aims to support the appraisal of the participation of women in the fields of academic research and ITC. Main beneficiaries of the project are women entrepreneurs and elected representatives of both local councils and the national parliament in Morocco. Among the project beneficiaries are included both businesswomen of prominent status and SME:s as well as women from NGO’s and universities. The project is realized by Institut International de la Recherche Scientifique (IIRS) a Moroccan NGO established in 2010.
