Présentation
This $2,500,000 WHO project aims to reduce excess morbidity and mortality resulting from the public health consequences of the drought-induced humanitarian crisis in Oromia, Somali and Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ regions of Ethiopia. To that end, WHO ensureS that access to critical lifesaving health services is secured and maintained for the highly vulnerable populations fighting food insecurity by strengthening disease outbreak detection and response systems and providing essential health services and medical supplies, among other activities. In total, WHO providec lifesaving health support to 405,000 people, including 99,143 men, 95,255 women, 107,407 boys, 103,195 girls, and 71,280 people with disabilities.
