Présentation
The project responds to the needs of affected people through a multi-layered approach. This includes food security assistance, also via a rapid response mechanism for newly displaced people ; nutrition assistance for children with MAM and pregnant and nursing mothers as acute malnutrition hits record levels in Yemen with a devastating toll on children under five years of age ; and running the UN Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) as the recent escalation in Ma’rib has hampered access to the area. The project targets a total of 109,062 people with food security and 34,516 people with nutrition assistance.
