The Xilin River is a typical semi-arid inland river in the Inner Mongolia Plateau and an important part of the ecological security barrier in fragile northern areas.In recent years,many tributaries in the basin have dried up,the water quality of the assessed sections has exceeded the standard,and the water ecological environment has also been different.The destruction has caused serious disturbance to the production and life of farmers and herdsmen in the basin.In response to the above situation,this study established an ecological security system in the Xilin River Basin,assessed the level of ecological security,identified key factors affecting the level of ecological security,and further explored and analyzed the characteristics of water quality changes and the pollution load into the river.Pollution load reduction plan.1.The ecological security level of Xilin River Basin was evaluatedTaking the Xilin River Basin as an example,using the DPSIR conceptual model,the ecological security of the Xilin River Basin is divided into four special indicators:ecological environment pressure,ecosystem health,ecological service functions,and regulation and management.By calculating the weights of related indicators,Determine the scores of the corresponding indicators to obtain the ecological security scores of the Xilin River Basin.The Ecological Security Index(ESI)of the Xilin River Basin is 74.62,and the ecological security status of the basin is relatively safe.Among the four special indicators,the ecological environment pressure assessment level of the Xilin River Basin is"secondary",which is a relatively low level ;The ecosystem health assessment level of the river basin is"secondary",which is sub-healthy ;the ecological service function assessment level of the Xilin River Basin is"secondary",which is a high-function level ;the Xilin River Basin regulation and management assessment level is"first-level"",belongs to a high level.2.The temporal and spatial variation characteristics of water quality in Xilin River Basin are analyzed.Based on the monitoring data of 13 sampling points and 7 water quality indicators,the characteristics of temporal and spatial changes in the water quality of the Xilin River are analyzed.The water quality of Xilin River is good in spring and autumn and relatively poor in summer.The main factors affecting summer water quality are CODMn,COD and BOD5 ;the water quality of the middle reaches of Xilin River is better than that of upstream and downstream.Excessive water quality in the upstream and middle reaches is mainly due to non-point source pollution caused by livestock and poultry breeding and rural life ;the main reason for the excess water quality in the downstream reaches is the high concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus in the tail water of the sewage treatment plant.3.The reduction of pollution load under the water quality standard of the national control section is estimatedIn terms of non-point source pollution load emissions,livestock and poultry breeding emissions account for the largest proportion,followed by rural domestic pollution and fertilizer loss ;Among all pollutant indexes,COD emission accounts for the largest proportion,followed by total nitrogen.In terms of time,the reduction of river inflow in July is greater than that in April,and in terms of administrative regions ;Baiyin Xile cuts the most into the river
