With the rapid advancement of urbanization and industrialization,atmospheric particulate matter pollution has been a key issue that people have been paying attention to.Urban green space plays an important role in reducing air pollution.At present,there are abundant researches on the reduction of atmospheric particulate matter in urban park green spaces,but the research area is concentrated in arid,semi-humid and humid areas,there are relatively few studies on the reduction of atmospheric particulates in urban park green spaces in semi-arid areas.Therefore,studying the effect of urban park green space plant community structure in semi-arid areas on the reduction of atmospheric particles and reducing the harm of park air particles to urban residents has theoretical value and practical significance for urban park green space system planning in semi-arid areas.This article takes Hohhot as an example to study the reduction of different green space plant community structures in the park on atmospheric particulate matter concentration,and obtains the park green space plant community structure and green space with better abatement ability Spatial location,and targeted optimization of the current status of the target urban park green plant community to improve the environmental quality of urban parks in semi-arid areas,reduce the harm of particulate pollution to urban residents,and also improve the theoretical basis for reducing atmospheric particulates in urban parks in semi-arid areas.The main findings are as follows :(1)The daily reduction rate of plant community structure in different green spaces of the park is different ;the seasonal reduction rate is significantly different,and the overall reduction capacity in summer is greater than that in winter.Coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest,arbor-grass structure,shrub-grass structure has the strongest reducing ability.In winter,it is coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest,arbor,shrub-grass and shrub-grass structure ;the ability of greenbelt community structure in different polluted areas to reduce particulate matter is different,moderate and mild The mitigation capacity of polluted areas is strong,and the mitigation capacity of heavily polluted areas is relatively weak ;the mixed forests containing tall coniferous evergreen trees and the green plant community structure with rich vertical layers have a strong comprehensive ability to reduce particulate matter.(2)There is a significant difference in the reduction of particulate matter in different spatial positions of the park green space plant community(P<0.05).On the whole,the reduction ability in the forest is relatively stable,and the forest and forest margins also play a good role in reduction in the plant community structure with coniferous trees and rich layers.(3)Meteorological factors have a certain influence on the concentration of particulate matter,and park plant communities can regulate the microclimate environment.The improvement of microclimate through the plant community structure of park green space can also be appropriately reduced particulate concentration
