Résumé
The locality of the city of Ghardaïa is located in the south of Algeria, it is subject to an arid Saharan climate, with very low rainfall and very high temperature. To meet the water demands for the supply of drinking water for its population, it resorts to the exploitation of the layer of the deep reservoir continues in the sandy formation of the Albian. This aquifer formation represents the only exploitable water resource in the region. To reach and exploit this large reservoir, we resort to the execution of deep soundings by the Rotary technique which is widely used in the Sahara region. Our study falls within this framework to the technical monitoring of the realization of a borehole with these different types of exploitation. The monitoring was carried out on the basis of a geological and hydrogeological study. The results allowed us to determine the different characteristics of raw drilling waters and comparing them with WHO standards. It will be intended for the reinforcement of the drinking water network and improvement of water quality specifically the desalination of raw drilling water in the municipality of Ghardaïa.
