Résumé
The main issues brought forward are the complex nature of dispersal processes in sessile and passively dispersing organisms, which rely on external biotic and a-biotic vectors for their dispersal. In addition, my dissertation highlights the challenge of elucidating and tracking evolutionary and ecological responses to predicted dispersal-related selection pressures in the presence of various physiological, ecological and evolutionary constraints.
