Résumé
This study was conducted in Research and Extension Center of Faculty of Agriculture, Atatürk University during 2013 in Erzurum. In a study conducted in arid rangeland and productive pasture, some physical and chemical characteristics in terms of soil properties were investigated besides the determination of quality factors such as dry hay yield, crude protein, ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber), NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber), wet herbage yield and dry matter intake, digestible dry matter intake, relative forage value. Dry hay yield has been in productive pasture (165,93) and arid rangeland. The crude protein was determined %14,12 ; %14,66 respectively in arid rangeland and productive pasture. Furthermore ADF rate has been found as %39,81’in arid rangeland and %40,13 productive pasture. The NDF content of dry hay yield has been identified as %40,6’in productive pasture while it was %40,6’in arid rangeland. In this study ; wet herbage yield, digestible dry matter intake, dry matter intake, relative forage value were determined as 569.00, 57.89, 2.30 and 103.13, respectively in productive pasture while its were as 275.11, 57.64, 2.15, 96.06, respectively in arid rangeland. According to the results of the study ; taking into account parameters associated with the dry hay yield and hay quality are indicating the prevalent rangelands were in a relatively better condition the experiment is being carried out regional productive pasture and arid rangeland. When having higher value in terms of dry hay yield the productive pasture, it has been found to be similar of quality characteristics. The ADF and NDF rates has been increased, while reducing the protein content depending on the periods both productive pasture and arid rangeland.
