Résumé
This study was conducted in Research and Extension Center of Faculty of Agriculture, Atatürk University during 2011in Erzurum. Soil and quality parameters such as botanical composition, dry hay yield, crude protein, ADF, NDF and crude ash rates were assessed in meadow, arid rangeland and productive pasture. Average grasses legumes and other families were determined as 52,8%, 24,9% and 21,8%, respectively. Dry hay yield was the highest in meadow while it was the lowest in arid rangeland. Crude protein content was determined as 11,80%, 16,90%, 10,70% in meadow, productive pasture and arid rangeland. The highest ADF was in meadow (44,60%) while the lowest was in productive pasture (40,60%). The highest NDF content was in meadow (68,70%) while the lowest was in the productive pasture (65,80%). Raw ash content was ranged between 14,40% and 17,50%. Based on the results of dry hay yield, botanical compositional and parameters related to hay quality, when research meadow and rangelands compared to regional meadows and rangelands although research areas were better, it was suggested to take necessary precautions to improve vegetation and define based on grazing principle for sustainable vegetation.
