Résumé
Drought is the most complex of all-natural hazards. The lack of progress in drought preparedness planning and the development of national drought policies is a reflection of this complexity. Within the scope of the thesis, meteorological drought analysis was carried out with daily, monthly total rainfall and monthly average temperature data taken from 81 Central stations of Turkey for meteorological drought. The potential evapotranspiration (PET) obtained by the Thornthwaite method was calculated using monthly average temperatures. According to the parameter used, drought indices are divided into four. 1) drought indices where only precipitation is used, 2) only PET values are used, 3) precipitation and pet are used, and 4) precipitation and temperature are used. Drought analysis with NDVI from plant index models was performed using 63 Landsat – 8 satellite images for agricultural drought from 19.08.2019-30.08.2019. For hydrological drought, droughts over 10 current observation stations were analyzed using monthly average current data from 1979-2015. An attempt was made to determine hydrological drought by dividing it into 3, 6, 9 and 12-month periods. According to the results, similar results were observed in all regions in the Wasp, CZI, SPI and ZSI indices. According to PNPI and RAI indices, regions have high arid values. July and August generally saw low rainfall, according to DI. July is December, while the month when Level 0 is observed is July, the month when Level 4 is observed, according to EDDI. According to SPEI and RDI indices, close to normal conditions were observed at all stations. IP and HTC indices show similar results. More detailed results were obtained with the DMAI index, which was checked monthly and annually. According to NDVI results, drought was found in Southeastern Anatolia Region and Eastern Anatolia Region. According to the SSFI, there is no drought at the station, while according to the SDI, there is a slight drought.
