Résumé
The main aim of this study is to predict the impact of changes in climate and land use type/land cover on total flows and some water quality parameters in watersheds with semi arid climatic characteristics using hydrological model in near, medium and long term periods. Fort his purpose water samples were taken from Terme Stream watershed located in Ankara and Çankırı provinces. Flow rates were also measured during the same period. Model was tested with watershed characteristics and data of flow rates and some water quality parameters. After the calibration and validation of model near, medium and long term range forecasts for changes in flow and some water quality parameters were predicted according to different climate change and land cover change scenarios. Our results revealed that hydrological models might be used for taken fast, economic and dynamic decisions in medium and long term periods in the case of appropriate data set.
