This study was conducted in Gedaref State (Sudan). The study aimed mainly at identifying the role of ZOA, Islamic Relief around the World, and the Sudanese Red Crescent Society organizations working in the field of food security in the state. Moreover, knowing the effects of the interventions in the field of the food security, and the extent of the suitability of these interventions to the need of food security in these areas where these organizations operate ; by examining a representative sample of beneficiaries from three selected organizations. For the purpose of this study, both primary and secondary data were used. The data used in the study were collected in 2018, using well-structured questionnaires distributed to 141 households. These households were randomly selected from the beneficiaries of the organizations of the administrative units, which were the Eastern Galabat (Mahala, Mudug, Mariod, Rashid), Western Galabat (Komshita, Ganan, Wad Yousif, Saraf Tabaldeya, Saraf Amara, Saraf Baue East, Karsh Elfeil, Alebeek), and Goreisha (Abu Gloot, Shueib). Sampling method was a multistage technique (Cluster, Stratify, and random sampling). Interviewees with the main study subjects were interviewed using the focus group discussion. Secondary data was collected from various sources including previous studies, references, relevant government institutions, organizations, and online reports. Appling different statistical methods, data were analyzed including descriptive and influential analyses, in addition to the Likert Scale. The most important findings of the study were many positive effects of the organizations interventions. The most important of which is that these interventions by organizations contributed to the stability of food security , where (92.2%) of the respondents stated that there is a clear and effective influence of organizations in stabilizing food security, and thus create a kind of stability among the targeted communities (97.2%) of the respondents reported that, through the provision of food )Degree of Approval 90.1%, Mean 2.70, Standard Deviation 0.604) and consequently the nutritional ability )Degree of Approval 91.3%, Mean 2.74, Standard Deviation 0.471) and food stability )Degree of Approval 89.4%, Mean 2.68, Standard Deviation 0.587), and its diversification )Degree of Approval 91.3%, Mean 2.74, Standard Deviation 0.456). This in turn led to improving food security, consequently, the living condition of the targeted family (45.4%) of the respondents reported that, as well as the nutritional status of the targeted family (43.3%) of the respondents reported that, ensuring food, improving access to it and gaining high skills in the field of training (99.3%) of the respondents indicated that the training was useful and had a major role in changing their cultivation pattern better. Likewise, it contributed to increasing cultivated areas, which had a major role in increasing production (74%) of the respondents agreed that there is a clear increase in their production, and thus increasing income level.
