Résumé
Esta investigación busca indagar sobre la concepción de educación propia y los elementos de una educación para los indígenas Wayúu, del departamento de la Guajira. Para realizar este proceso investigativo se examinó el origen de los indígenas wayuu, su posición social y cultural en este momento histórico. Así como también se analizan el impacto de las normas legales y derecho de los indígenas Wayúu en el acontecer de su cultura. Se tomó en cuenta la voz de la comunidad wayuu para definir los acontecimientos en la problemática actual, para identificar los elementos que están fracturados como la identidad cultural, la cohesión social. Para este análisis se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad, con el objeto de conocer la concepción wayuu de la educación propia. En las conversaciones se pudo apreciar la perspectiva de los indígenas con relación a fenómenos como aculturación, educación, nación Wayúu e identidad cultural.

This research seeks to investigate the concept of self-education and elements of education for indigenous Wayúu of the Guajira department. To make this investigative process the origin of the Wayúu indigenous, social and cultural position in this historical moment it was examined. And the impact of the laws and rights of indigenous Wayúu in the events of their culture are also analyzed. It took into account the voice of the Wayúu community to define the events in the current problems, to identify the elements that are broken as cultural identity, social cohesion. For this analysis, in-depth interviews were conducted in order to know the Wayúu own conception of education. In the talks could appreciate the perspective of indigenous peoples with regard to phenomena such as acculturation, education, and cultural identity Wayúu nation.
