Résumé
The present work was executed during the two successive growing seasons of 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 at Sharona Village, Eastern Desert Road, Maghagha City, Minia Governorate. The aim of this study was to investigate the response of fenugreek plants to compost as organic fertilization (at zero, 5.0, 7.5 and 10.0 t/fed.) and planting date (15th September, 1st October and 15th October). Data recorded at the end of vegetative growth traits (plant height, number of branches/plant, number of leaves/plant, leaves fresh and dry weights/plant and herb fresh and dry weights/plant), yield production (number of pods/plant, number of seeds/pod, number of seeds/plant, seed yield weight/plant and /fed. and weight of 1000 seeds) and chemical constituents of plant and seed (photosynthetic pigments and NPK % in leaves, carbohydrate %, protein %, mucilage %, saponine % and oil production [fixed and essential % and yield/plant and /fed.]) of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum, L.) plants.
