Identification : 0439792
Pays : Etats Unis
Durée : START : 01 APR 2021 TERM : 29 SEP 2024
Objectifs
Long-term goals of this cooperative research project between USDA-ARS and Cooperator support three objectives, addressing the broad issue of dryland agricultural production in the semi-arid Great Plains : 1. Develop management practices incorporating the latest technology developments for a field-size aspirational four-year, dryland crop rotation system with precision nutrient, agrichemical, and weed control and crop population management. 2. Compare yields, economic returns, and environmental impacts of the aspirational rotation system to a dryland rotation system currently used by producers of the region. 3. Evaluate potential alternative crops and management practices for introduction into the aspirational wheat-based dryland rotation system
