Résumé partiel
The ecological environment in desert area is fragile, and vegetation coverage can effectively improve the ecological environment. As the source of various nutrient elements required for vegetation growth, the content change of soil organic carbon is not only related to vegetation community, but also related to other environmental factors. The research object is different vegetation communities in the eastern part of Kubuqi Desert.Analysis of variation characteristics of soil organic carbon in different vegetation communities.Analysis of the relationship between soil organic carbon, vegetation characteristics and soil characteristics. It provides scientific reference and basis for vegetation restoration and ecological environment improvement in desert areas. The main conclusions are as follows :(1)The content of topsoil soil organic carbon in the eastern part of Kubuqi Desert ranges from 0.64 to 4.14 g·kg-1.In terms of spatial distribution is high in the West and low in the East. The high value areas of spatial distribution include Caragana korshinskii+Artemisia ordosica community and Artemisia ordosica community on fixed sandy land. The average content of topsoil soil organic carbon in Caragana korshinskii+Artemisia ordosica community and Artemisia ordosica community on fixed sandy land was significantly higher than that shifting sandy land, which were 3.86 and 3.36 times higher than that in shifting sandy land respectively. The results showed that Caragana korshinskii+Artemisia ordosica community and Artemisia ordosica community on fixed sandy land had the best effect on soil organic carbon accumulation.(2)The particle size composition of topsoil in the study area is mainly fine sand.Different vegetation communities showed that Artemisia ordosica community on fixed sandy land and Caragana korshinskii+Artemisia ordosica community had the best sand retention effect. The clay and silt contents were 13.38%and 13.17%higher than in shifting sandy land respectively. The correlation between soil organic carbon and soil particle size composition in different vegetation communities showed that the fixation of soil fine-grained material was beneficial to promote the accumulation of topsoil soil organic carbon.(3)The average contents of soil available nitrogen and available potassium in Artemisia ordosica community on fixed sandy land were the highest. It’s 4.99mg·kg-1and 48.13mg·kg-1higher than that of shifting sandy land respectively. The soil available phosphorus content of Caragana korshinskii+Artemisia ordosica community was the highest. Its content is only 1.86mg·kg-1higher than that of shifting sandy land. The soil available nitrogen and available potassium could promote the accumulation of topsoil soil organic carbon in Artemisia ordosica community on fixed sandy land. The soil available nitrogen could promote the accumulation of soil organic carbon in Salix psammophila+Artemisia ordosica community.(4)Comprehensive analysis showed that the main influencing factors of soil organic carbon of Artemisia ordosica community on semi-fixed sandy land and Salix psammophila+Artemisia ordosica community are clay and silt. The main influencing factors of soil organic carbon of Artemisia ordosica community on fixed sandy land are very fine sand and soil available nitrogen. The main influencing factors of soil organic carbon in Caragana korshinskii+Artemisia ordosica community are very fine sand and soil available potassium.
