As a new type of water-saving,temperature control and conservation technology,the vertical pipe surface drip irrigation can solve the damage of sand-fixing plant seedlings under the combined stress of surface high temperature and soil drought.In order to promote its application to plant sand fixation area that still lacks complete theoretical basis,it is necessary to carry out systematic research on soil water infiltration and evaporation characteristics related to vertical pipe surface drip irrigation to provide theoretical support for ecological vegetation restoration in arid sandstorm area.In this paper,the characteristics of soil water infiltration under vertical pipe surface drip irrigation and ordinary surface drip irrigation were studied through laboratory experiments,as well as the influence of aeolian sandy soil cover thickness on soil evaporation.Qualitative analyses of different influencing factors were carried out,relevant empirical models were established,and the test data were used to verify.The preliminary results are as follows :(1)The change processes of cumulative infiltration of aeolian sand soil under different diameter and buried depth of vertical pipes were measured through 12 groups of water infiltration tests in vertical pipes,and Philip Infiltration Model was used to be fitted.It is found that when the diameter of the vertical pipes is constant,the stability permeability is inversely proportional to the buried depth ;and the buried depth of vertical pipes is constant,the stability permeability is proportional to the diameter of vertical pipes.Vertical pipe diameter and vertical pipe depth had the strongest effects on the stability permeability,and there is a power function with them.(2)In the process of surface drip irrigation with vertical pipe,the drip head flow had the strongest effects on the vertical downward migration distance of the wetting pattern,the larger the drip head flow was,the greater the migration distance of the vertical downward wetting front was,while the horizontal and vertical upward was small.In conclusion,the migration distance of the wetting front in the three directions is inversely proportional to the diameter of the vertical pipes.With the increase of the burial depth of the vertical pipe,the migration distance of the vertical upward and downward wet front decreased,but the migration distance of the horizontal wet front changed little.
