With the gradual reduction of fossil energy sources such as coal and oil around the world,the demand for renewable energy such as solar energy becomes particularly prominent.China has issued a series of incentive policies to support the development of photovoltaic industry,and the country’s photovoltaic installed capacity of photovoltaic ranks first in the world.However,the power generation performance of photovoltaic modules is easily affected by surface dust accumulation.In order to ensure the efficient operation of photovoltaic panels,it is urgent to clean them.In view of the shortage of existing related devices and the practical demand for efficient dust cleaning on photovoltaic panel surface in desertification areas,a new waterless dust removal device for photovoltaic panel was developed in this paper.The main work includes:1.About 60 pieces of photovoltaic glass with inclination angles of 0°,15°,30°,45°,60°,75°,facing east,west,south,southeast,southwest and northwest were installed at the edge of Tengri Desert Photovoltaic Industrial Park in Zhongwei,and the change law of dust accumulation and light transmission rate of photovoltaic glass panels with different inclination angles were studied by natural dust accumulation.The experimental results show that,with the increase of the inclination angle of the plate,the dust accumulation shows a trend of increasing and then decreasing,and the light transmission shows a trend of decreasing and then increasing,among which the 150 inclination angle glass plate has the largest dust accumulation and the smallest light transmission.At the same time,the voltammetric characteristics of photovoltaic cells with different inclination angles and dust accumulation on the surface were measured by the voltammetric characteristics test instrument,and the loss rate of their output power was studied.2.In view of some environmental adaptability problems existing in the existing photovoltaic panel dust removal device,a new waterless dust removal device is designed.The device mainly includes walking structure,limit structure,cleaning structure,sliding structure and control system design The device is designed with three rows of upper,middle and lower walking wheels and equipped with auxiliary wheels to achieve the obstacle crossing function ;In order to prevent the secondary dust problem caused by the rolling brush,the inclined installation of the rolling brush is adopted to accelerate the sliding of dust on the board.At the same time,the sawtooth structure is designed above the rolling brush to remove dust and flocs from the bristles.Such a design helps to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic panel dust removal.The performance and reliability of the device were verified by a pilot experiment in a photovoltaic power station in Zhongwei,Ningxia.3.Based on Solidworks software,the stress and strain of the roller brush,sliding plate and walking wheel of the dust removal device are analyzed.And the feasibility of the strength and stiffness design of the mechanical structure is verified to ensure the normal operation of the dust removal device.
