Résumé
To describe in quantitative terms the diversity of the terrestrial invertebrate fauna of the Etosha National Park and to assess the effects of natural and human-induced factors. To facilitate the establishment of a national network of invertebrate collectors/monitors to the mutual benefit of the Namibian Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the State Museum of Namibia.
Project Outputs
50 Namibian staff from National Parks trained in invertebrate ecology ; Approx. 10 items of equipment donated to each National Park ; Reference collection established at Etosha Ecological institute ; smaller reference collection established at 8 National Parks.
