Descriptif
The project would contribute to improve the living conditions for vulnerable female headed households in through supporting income generation activities (IGAs) in South Gaza. The project aims at improving the socioeconomic conditions of the widows. The project targets 15 of the poorest and most vulnerable families focusing om female headed households. The project will assist them and enable them to have a sustainable source of income by doing the following : • Funding : the project will secure the funds for starting a feasible income generation activity for 15 projects. Each of the project beneficiaries will receive an average of 8,500 ILS (approx. 1800 GBP) to help the start income generation activities. • Coaching : this will involve providing business counseling, follow-up, mentorship, and business linkages. Couching will start before the small businesses starts and will continue until women have the ability to sail on their own. This effort is expected to transfer them to be self-reliant and income generators, and ultimately enhance their livelihoods
