Descriptif
In response to the deteriorating situation that has been complicated in the aftermath of recent war and continuous blockade, with its devastating effects on households and the families, it has become more evident the huge need for specialized psychosocial support to affected families especially at the most intensely affected localities. In this intervention IRPAL aims to capitalize on the previous experience and achievements throughout the last 2 years, and extend and enrich its outreach to affected vulnerable families and their children and at different locations of Gaza Strip through providing psychosocial support through family Counselling intervention taking into consideration lessons learned from previous experience. IRPAL will provide psychosocial support services to 200 families for roughly 1,200 family members. The project will involve the following main components : 1) Provide psychosocial support through family Counselling intervention to 200 families in Gaza strip. 2) Implement open fun days for targeted families to relief their stress and anger. 3) Refer the cases, suffering from complex status, to the psychologist of the partners to get the proper management plan. 4) Mainstream IRPAL new approach of family counselling to the families in mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) cluster. 5) Capacity building for partners’ staff about the approach of Family counselling.
